He gives no real facts nor any proof he states his whole house only uses 35 litres of water a day. He must be having no showers, nor cooking, using the toilet, cleaning or most other things people do at home. He either has a VERY faulty water meter, is stealing water, lying about his use, failed maths or just guessed for himself what he uses OR the paper misprinted it.

This Example will highlight the average usage for 1 Adult usage averaged over a month.

• 1. 30 litres = Toilet flush 5 uses
  2. 2 litres = drinking water
  3. 10 litres = dishwashing
  4. 1 litres = clean teeth and face
  5. 10 litres = preparing food
  6. 20 litres = cleaning house
  7. 20 litres = guests visiting
  8. 29.2 litres = Showering
  9. 30 litres = to obtain temprature

Total: 93 litres a person

The above table shows the government is not being unrealistic but fair. It also does not consider those people who use Just add water packet mixes, nor pets.

The list below shows actual figures from a test for 2 people water use on 13-May 2007 88.5 litres was used between 6.20 am and 5.50am on 14-May.

• 1. 36 litres = Toilet flush 7 half & 1 full flsuhes
  2. 0 litres = drinking water
  3. 12 litres = dishwashing
  4. 2 litres = clean teeth and face
  5. 2.3 litres = preparing food
  6. 1 litres = cleaning house
  7. 0 litres = guests visiting
  8. 16 litres = to obtain temprature
  9. 19.2 litres = Showering
